St. Scholastica’s Catholic Primary School

On behalf of the St. Scholastica’s Catholic Primary School community, I would like to warmly welcome you to our school. St. Scholastica’s has had a long and rich tradition in Catholic Education. In 2009, the school celebrated our 50th year and we are very proud of our rich history. The school handbook found on this website will assist you in becoming familiar with the routines, policies and information needed for a smooth transition into school life. As educators in a Catholic school, our aim is to promote living and learning in faith. This is the cornerstone of all we do, and as an important part of this, we seek to support you in your role as parents in nurturing your children so that they can live their lives to their full potential. We aim to provide a learning environment which is stimulating, positive and purposeful. There are many opportunities to participate in the life of the school community through the involvement of Parents and Friends activities, the School Advisory Board, classroom assistance and a large number of activities that take place in and around the school. Parents are one of our greatest resources and so we encourage all parents to be involved in the school wherever possible.

The school motto – To Live, To Learn, To Love challenges us to work together to form a community which is respectful, safe and supportive and  provides the opportunity for all our families to live and learn in faith.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
